A respected master ceramicist in Toronto's pottery scene with over 30 years of experience. Graduate of Iranian Cultural Heritage University (1998), Marjan has exhibited her ceramic artwork internationally across three continents. Her collaboration with the prestigious Gardiner Museum and mastery of both traditional Persian pottery techniques and contemporary ceramic methods make her an exceptional pottery instructor.
Master Ceramicist & Art Educator
Master ceramicist and visual arts specialist with over 15 years of experience. Graduate of Sanabad University (Bachelor of Graphic Design, 2014) and Centennial College (Arts Management). Nastaran's unique fusion of traditional Iranian ceramic design with contemporary pottery techniques creates an innovative learning experience. Her public art installations and professional studio leadership since age 19 demonstrate exceptional artistic vision.

We offer two 4-session term classes: Hand Building (learn pinch pots, coil building, and slab construction) and Wheel Throwing (learn centering, pulling, and shaping on the pottery wheel). Each class is 12 hours total spread across 4 three-hour sessions.
No experience needed! Our 4-session classes are beginner-friendly. Our master instructors will guide you through every step from the basics to creating finished pieces.
All materials are included: clay (3kg), tools, glazes, and firing. You take home everything you create. Additional clay is available at a small fee if needed.
Pottery requires 2-3 weeks for drying, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing. We'll contact you when your creations are ready for pickup.
We keep our classes small for personalized attention - only 4 students for wheel throwing and 6 for hand building. This ensures you get plenty of one-on-one guidance from our instructors.
